Getting Used to the RVIf you’re hoping to take your cat on a long RV trip, you might start by helping your cat see the RV as a comfortable place to be. When it’s parked at home, take your cat inside and let it explore and sniff to its heart’s content. Spend a night or two sleeping—with your cat—in the RV at home. Move some of your cat’s possessions (toys, scratching post, blankets) into the RV so it feels like a comforting spot. Feed your cat in the RV and move a litter box in. Be sure to put the litter box in the same place where it will be when you travel, so your cat gets used to finding its bathroom in the same location. |
